SPEC 4 or 5 for STS making over 500rwhp
i will be making in the neighborhood of 535-540rwhp with almost 600rwtq pretty soon and i was curious if the SPEC 4 or 5 would hold my car's insane 600tq to the flywheel right now and more when i up the boost, i need a clutch that will hold that power. prob wont be doing too many dig races ( dont have the rear-end yet to hold it) i mainly do roll races
any one on here that actually makes the power on here with these clutches, it would be nice if you shared some opinions

If it's your daily driver I would say Spec 3+ or the 3+ twin disk if you're planning on more power in the future. The puck clutches don't do so well when daily driven.

LOL @ insane 600 ft-lbs. Try a SPEC 3+, I have one and it holds my insane power. It will be fine for 600 ft-lbs.
Just be sure to buy a new master and slave with the clutch and if you reuse the flywheel(which I wouldnt) be sure to have it resurfaced and balanced.

I suggest a stage 3+. It should easily hold the kind of power you are shooting for. You can contact any of our dealers that sponsor this site to place an order. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!!!

I have a 4 in my car now. I hate it. I can street drive it but there is no slipping it. Its either in our out. If i try to slip it, it bucks the car. Go 3+ has a higher torque rating and the ones i have driven are nice.
BTW my spec 4 has a stock pedal firmness, i was baffled.

Don't go SPEC 4. I had one before and it was miserable if you ever plan on street driving it. SPEC 5 would be out of the question for me... period.
I would look at a Textralia OZ700 Z Disc
I'm knocking at 600rwtq with my new pump in and the RAM Powergrip HD wouldn't hold up at all.
I'm fixing to order my Textralia. Good luck - hope this helps
