Default EVAP /Return hose on 04 GTO motor Plug it or must it return to the tank?

I swaped an 2004 GTO motor into my 66 nova.
Can I just plug this hose or just let it hang there.

This is the plastic hose on the drivers side of the motor it has the female end on it.

I don't have the hard line or the charcoal canister.

should I just rig something to go straight back to the tank I built and just dump in the tank.

I would rather just plug this though. I think leaving it hanging it would purge every now and then, not sure exactly how this works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just plug it. Unless your Tank is vented to a Canister, you won't need it.

If you do have or going to vent the tank, suggest you get a small Charcoal Canister and use that small line to the canister to pull vacumn in the can and vent the tank.

Search on Canister and you will find a few options, late model Mustangs use a small one that you might be able to hide near the tank or use in the engine bay.

Thanks

I was looking at it last night and contrary to what everyone says it looks like it only pulls vacume from the manifold as I dont see it connect anywhere on the fuel line, it runs close and under but not connected I'm not sure what that schrader valve is for since it seems like it would only be pulling vacume?

The first start up of the car is getting close I spent all week on the wiring.
Also received my HPtuners program last week.
Spent some time figuring it out then Friday plugged the car to the battery and the gauges all lit up it was amazing, the way things have been on this project I figured something would go wrong "told me low fuel and coolant" Was able to do my first read and have been removing things like vats/cags/rear O2's/torque management/speed limiters.

I cant seem to find the wires that go to the fuel pump, I found the purple power wire but not the fuel gauge ones?

Pin 23 (green/White) of the C206 (big white plug) is for the fuel relay to the pump.

Is the gas tank vented in any way (vented cap or some other method)?

If yes, then you don't need the EVAP solenoid.

If no, then you either need to vent the tank or hook up the EVAP solenoid.

Late model tanks aren't vented and don't use vented caps, and the EVAP setup is designed to pull the extra vapor out in a safe manner (motor burns it, kinda like PCV).
