Default gm truck mods

I've got a '02 GMC Sierra w/ the 4.8l V8. So far all I've got is a cold air intake, 85mm throttle body and performance exhaust. I want to do a new intake manifold, headers, programmer, and heads, but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions?...

depends on your budget. i would do the headers first you already have more air in now you need to get it out. it will also help the heads work better later. ive read that the stock intakes flow almost as well as the ls6. on my 05 the water pump is in the way for an intake swap. it will block the ducting to the manifold. as for the programmer i would buy software instead, efilive/hptuners theres lots of help here to help you figure out how to use it the programmers are limited in what they can do. if you plan on more mods the tuning software will allow you to compensate for them better good luck
