cruise control cable

Is it possible to get a shorter cable for the cruise control unit?
Mine is more than 2 meters long and I would like to mount the unit under the dash.

Excellent. There may be somewhere you can order cable with the fixed ball if you knew how much you needed. I would not try and modify a cable like that. Probably just snap on ya one day unexpected. Sent ya a PM.
