Default Lifter Noise on my 99 SS

I could really use some help. I've been experiencing some lifter noise on my SS. It's been getting worse in the last two days. I'm not too sure where to start. Any help would great!

Yeah, the car is stock. I'm really worried about this. I bought the car about a week and a half ago.

Need more info on the set up. M6 or A4? May not be a lifter.

It's a manual. It has about 50,000 miles on it. I'm going to do an oil change though. The lst guy I bought it from had it since 05 and only put about 1200 miles on the car and I have no record of when an oil change was done.
