T/B and intake swap

If i was to swap out my intake to an ls6 intake in my 99 ss would i have to change my t/b to a different year one or will my 99 t/b work

Same TB will work. I've got an ls6 and stock ported TB on my 98 Z28.

-Intake is external by the way.
