Default anyone making steering wheels for the f-bodies?

Just wanted to see if anyone's replaced the stock steering wheel with something a little more "racy" (thicker rim, different spoke placement, looks). Although the steering wheel controls for radio are nice, I've just never liked the look or feel of the stocker. I suppose wanting to keep the airbag would narrow the list to next to nothing...but thought I'd ask anyway.
Thanks,
Dave

Lots of aftermarket steering wheels would work but you WOULD loose the airbag for sure.. You would also loose the steering wheel radio controls but you could add and aftermarket control unit..

Something in billet and leather maybe?

i would love to do this mod ,sparco has a red and black leather one that would match my seats.i could care less about the airbag and controls but do you need some kind of adapter or hub? it wont bolt right up will it. ive seen someone on here a while ago that had done this. it looked great.

What about a Z06 steering wheel? Is that possible? And wouldn't you be able to do work it out with the airbag?

Isn't it illigal to NOT have an airbag? I could have sworn I read this somewhere because I wanted to put a new wheel on, but then read that law...

Yeah, I think it is illegal to remove a factory air bag, but I have seen many a f-bodies done. I was actually interested myself. I have a momo that I took out of my supra in japan. i just need to find a momo steering wheel adapter so I can install it. Let me know if you find anything out.
