Default Idle question...............

When I put my car in gear (2001 A4 Corvette), the idle will go from 1000 rpm and jump to say 1300-1400 rpm for a second or two, and then go back down. It only does this on cold start. It drives normally from there.

I'm not sure what cracker/follower tables do, but thought it might be one of those. Do you Guys have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Throttle cracker and follower tables are for driveability. When you go from park to drive, the car isn't moving. The problem is most likely in the desired idle airflow (base running airflow) table. You probably have too much airflow at first until it learns back down a little. Check the stickies for the RAFIG process...

Thank You SSpdDmon!

I'll go do that now! Didn't you do an idle tuning tutorial post? I've been looking for it, but the search isn't Very Cooperative! It keeps timing out!
