Default sway bar questions

i have a couple questions. my friend is buying a set of front sway bar bushings for a 87 gta but no one knows what size to buy. any ideas?(its not a 1le car)

and he says he'll buy me a set for my formy. but i got a 2002 ws6 sway bar for free so i want to install that. what size would that be?

Just remember , the larger/thicker the sway bar the the more your ride quality will deteriorate . When combined with lowering springs the ride on city streets WILL be intolerable .

That's one opinion, now here's mine. They make the ride a lot more firm but if you got the right shock, spring, and thick swaybar combo, then you will have a very tolerable ride on the street. Firm but tolerable. You might get a little uncomfortable on longer trips but it's not too bad. (I'm used to an Acura TSX). I've got strano springs, konis, and a 35mm front 21mm rear swaybar combination.

Z Roadster, what combination of suspension did you have that you considered intolerable?

Original thread made no mention of shocks or of springs , just a larger sway bar.
If you've got the bucks put the air suspension under the damn thing & be done with it.

Why not measure it if the car was a ws6 its most likely a 36mm bar.
