what's up all.. im scott, live in AZ. i've got a 93 mustang coupe that i'm toying with the idea of the almighty touched-by-the-hand-of-god LS1 swap. after building the stock 5.0 block to almost it's limits, i came to the conclusion that i could be making the same amount of power i am now, but with WAY better fuel economy, driveability, and the opprotunity to make way more than that without having do buy a damn dart block. SO, i decided to check this place out to get some more valuable info.
so far my idea includes a 6.0 shortblock, whatever the good factory heads are ( i know there are some good ones, just cant remember the in-house designation for them) a custom cam by Jay Allan or similar, and quite possibly a 70mm snail for assisted breathing. obvioulsy forged pistons, likely upgraded hardware, blah blah blah... am i on the right track?
here's a pic of the coupe, for anyone interested...
trust me.. the car's in that pic somewhere...
