That would be a funny prank. Someone asks a basic, simple question, then keeps asking it over and over as people keep telling him the answer over and over. Whoever gets the most correct answer posts wins. So far, Juicedz28 is up to 5 correct answers in the first page of his post.

No problem, they're just kidding you. BTW, my door says GU2 because it originally came with 2.73's, but now has a 3.42 complete rear out of an M6 car. So sometimes the codes don't help identify what's actually in the car.

Instead of pulling the rear cover visit www.f-body.org/gears/ first and print out what it says for 3.23's - then match it against your RPM on the highway.

Count the ring gear teeth. Then count the pinion gear and divide the two with the ring gear first. That will tell you your gear which is the best way to find out what you have.
