Magnacharged LS2 GTO
Alright...I need an estimated E/T with this setup. 2005 GTO, Kooks LT Headers, SLP LM Exhaust, K&N Intake, Magnacharger, Tuned by East Coast Superchargering. Dyno'd 445 rwhp. Any ball park guesses on the 1/4 E/T I should aim for when I take it to the track? Unfortunately the car is currently on Nitto DR's, so traction might be an issue...but any feed back would be greatly appriciated....

Well I'm back from the track and it wasn't a fun night at all....it all started my first run...just ball parked a launch, came out the hole 1st gear was fine, second was great, bang third...now before I go any further, their is a B&M shifter on the car, and when I went to bang fourth gear, the shift **** came off....at first I had no clue what had happend, by the time I realized that the **** came off I had already gone through the traps, my first run was a 13.5 @ 109, pathetic I know...so I go back around to the staging lanes all pissed and get ready for my next run...I bogged the launch and when I bang'd second the **** came off again, so I completed my run this time by shifting the boot, which wasn't fun at all....it was a 13.4 @ 105......but third run, things start to get better....fourth run I slipped the clutch a little more, hit a 1.9 60' and a 12.9 @ 98, once again problems shifting into 4th gear.....my last run of the night even though the E/T is the worst, I slipped the clutch from about 4200 this time, I get on it, bang 2nd and give up....coasting down the track I managed a 16.1 but a remarkable 1.80 60'.....so all in all tonight was a complete failure....but atleast i managed a 1.8 60'.....so any opinions on my horrible driving for tonight?
BTW: Anyone else have a problem with the shift **** on the GTO's B&M Shifter?

I'm an auto guy, but I know most of the GTO guys get the GMM rippershifter, and I've heard quite a few complaints about the B&M.
As far as track predictions, once you get to driving that thing, with traction in the summer should be low 12's, on a good winters day you can get high 11's. These GTO's are really heavy, and that maggie system just added about 80-100lbs to an already heavy car. Got an upgraded clutch yet? if not you'll want to start looking. The 1.80 60's was good considering the tires. What track your running that monster at?

I would think it would run 11's, I race a friend with a stock 05 GTO with auto tranny and with M/T drag radials he run 12.87 in the heat, I beat him with my 5.3 5080 pound 04 SSR with Magna charger, It run 12.70 at 107 on stock tires babying it off the line

Wow, 445 hp with a blower? That's why I never bought a maggie lol. Anyway, you should certainly manage low 12's with awesome driving with that setup. The car is heavy like people said, so that is a big part of it not going as fast as a similarly powered F body. As for shifter- go to ls2gto.com and check out the billet products shifter- blows the GMM out of the water! As for the Hurst, last I heard it was still not available. Did that change?
