Default Procharger question

Is the F1 too much for a fairly stock ls1... I have a cam, springs, and pushrods, but the bottum end is all stock. I am asking because I have the chance to pick one up with a kit for dirt cheap. I am thinking about going ahead and getting it either way, but selling it for a D1SC. It does come with multiple pulleys, and I would like to run no more than 8psi (most likely 5-7psi).

F1 is way too much for a stock motor. I don't think the F1 can run boost as low as 8lbs.

We sold an F1A kit to a customer who is running it on a GTO with a stock bottom end. He had a one off larger blower pulley made for it which is keeping boost down to 7 psi. I believe the pulley is a 5.50". Bob

I think the Biggest pulley is about a 4.25, so it wont be that big. I know the guy was running it at about 14psi, but took it off after about 1000miles to go a different route. I think I might go ahead and buy it, and see if I cant trade it or sell it for a D1SC. Trying to get more information out of the guy. I figured the F1 would put out more than I wanted.
