Default Any good shop that will fix my rear main seal?

So far I have went to one shop and they qouted me $400 to change my rear main seal and change the oil pan. My car is leaking enough oil to the point where I should get this fixed. My Buudy that works at Midas looked at the car and he said I dont have to rush to get this fixed as long as I make sure there is enough oil and he said jus dont be driving crazy and racing, so I calmed down on that. The car has been like this for about 3 months. I just haven't had the money and now I do. I always check my oil and get the oil changed. The low oil light comes on way before I have to get an oil change, but I make sure I top the oil off with about 2 qts. So anyways im looking to get this fixed soon and wanna know where the good shops are. Basically anywhere in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Gabriel Vallley, Inland Empire, San Fernando Valley and so on is coo. So fellas I need your help once again. Any thoughts or input is appreciated.....THANKS

Give us a call at the Shop

If you plan on swapping out your converter this would be a good time to do it, it would save you form having to pay for labor again since the converter and flex plate have to be removed to access the rear main seal.

My car is also leaking oil and I have a suspicion that it might also be the rear main seal Well, like it was said, it's a good excuse to throw in a new torque converter.....

How much would a decent torque converter cost. The reason I ask is because I don't have money like that right now but if its not that much then I guess it would be a good idea to swap the converter. Then again my car is bone stock and is it worth it to swap the converter for my first mod, and I have about 112k on the engine. I don't know what should I do! Let me know guys!
