wierd miss. need help

wierd miss. need help yesterday as i was driving on the freeway the car started missing out of no where. Car has never had any problems. The car has a miss at idle and wot. The wierd part is that there is no codes? The car is stock, except for shorties. Any ideas? Also the car smells like it is running very rich.
