yup...not to be confused with ETC - electronic throttle control (found on C5/C6's and other late model cars & SUV's).

Not trying to bash.....

But, WOW!!! If you need provide people with the definition of an "air filter", they really shouldn't be allowed to touch the software.

So easy a caveman can do it?

That's actually quite a comprehensive compendium you have going there!

I don't take credit for any of it...it was all user submitted stuff with the exception of the first post which was from innovates website as stated at the bottom of the post.

Real Time Tuning is simply an enhancement of our custom operating systems. Once you get your hardware its just a matter of appling one of our custom operating systems that has RTT available which you'll then be able to tune dozens of tables in real time.

More info can be found here

http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_editor_rtt.htm

And since its just a software update it already does come built-in

I think this was all a big misunderstanding...and instead of replying to the PM foff, I'm posting in here so everyone gets to see.

If you knew me, you'd know I'm a bit of a smart-*** by nature. Unfortunately, that wonderful character trait of mind doesn't get to come out too much here in the PCM section. I meant no ill will by my little comment. It wasn't anything other than a wise crack. I wasn't born with a wrench in my hand AND I'm more than happy to admit there's a hell of a lot of **** I don't know when it comes to cars. But, I try to share what I do know and be serious about it when appropriate.

You have to admit though, defining something like an AIR FILTER is a little rediculous! Personally, I'd feel a little guilty (read: it's poor business ethics) if I sold a piece of software with the capabilities that EFI Live or HPT has to someone who didn't know what an air filter was, wouldn't you??? I have nothing against whoever made the writeup or whoever made it a sticky. But, you can't deny the opportunity to proof read and edit wasn't had before making it a sticky.

The truth is, I got a little laugh out of it and thought I'd share with a few friends. That's all. I intentionally said I wasn't trying to bash....as in HPT, their board, or their people. But, I guess that wasn't enough since you felt justified in calling me a douche...
