General Maintenance & Repairs - Hatch leak....

So apparently my hatch is leaking on my firebird. Any ideas on the cause and what to do to fix it?

Are you parking on a hill with the nose facing downhill?

i get water in mine also...in the little secret compartment on the left...i cant figure out where it comes from..

Parking the car with the nose facing downhill during a rainstorm is known to let water get in and pool under the rear seats. I believe the recommended solution was park it in the other direction with the nose pointing uphill :)

It's just one of those quirks........

I was also getting water in the trunk of my 00 SS. Mine leaked regardless of how I parked it unless I backed into the driveway with the nose facing slightly down. Turns out it was the wing that was not sealed properly. Take it off and reseal it and that should do the trick.
