Gears & Axles - Just installed Motive 3.90s. Awesome

I just had my Motive 3.90s and Auburn LSD installed thursday. And I have to say, I'm happy with my choice of gear ratio. I think 4.10s wouldve been a little excessive for a daily driver that sees all weather. The only negative thing i have to say is that there is a slight whine at about 55mph which i was expecting, but it doesnt bother me to much. I havnt taken it to the track yet (obviously, still gotta break it in). But when I do, I'm gonna have some M/T drag radials on my stock 16s. I'm shooting for a 12.7.

I have 3.89s in my 9".... it is a great gear! However... my freeway blasts are obviously a lot shorter. lol

The whinning is from the install setup, shimed incorectly ,I been useng Motive+ for years now with no noise at all ,I had 3:90's in for a while and went with 4:30's thinking of going back.

I think I have problem. When I reverse, I sometimes hear a crack sound, from seems to be the rear. is this a install error? Also, what weight fluid are you guys using in your aftermarket rears?
