Default Grrr, this headlight blows.

Ok, I recently had problems with my Firebird's driver side. It wouldn't go up so I purchased the Brent Franker offers at his website. During that install my dad noticed that the power connector is pretty corroded. He cleaned some of it out and after the new gear got done everything worked well for awhile. A few weeks later the light usually goes up, but doesn't turn on. Don't get me wrong, it does have issues going up sometimes but mainly the bulb turning on. Could the cause for all these problems be the corrosion on the plug? It definitely would make sense in my eyes since the connectors are not making a clean cut touch. What else could it be?

You could have a burned out bulb also.

The bulb still comes on sometimes though, it just takes a few tries.
