How about someone come up with a lid that will accept the 85mm MAF. It needs to be about 87-89mm at the opening for the MAF to slide instead of butting up against. Clear, like the MTI lid would be nice.

TSP was making 85mm lids for awhile. Not sure if they still do or not.

They quit making them. They couldnt find a supplier to keep them in stock I think they said.
Instead I took a heat gun to mine and moddified it. Plastic is easy to manipulate as long as you heat it up evenly. The Wisper lid I have is a two peice design so I split it apart a little at the seem and then expanded the neck (with heat) to accept the bigger MAF end. Then use some sandable epoxy paste pc7 to repair where I had to split it and make up some material for the gap now formed by the split. It should look factory when I'm done sanding it and painting it.
Really wish I had the MTI clear lid but I didnt want to drop 100 on something I might ruin by doing what I'm doing.
I could have butted up against an used a rubber sleeve over it but you run the risk of misalignment due to the angle the from the lid to the intake.
