What's up guys. I'm new to the site & just wanted to introduce myself. I've been reading up, man is there A LOT of great info on this site. I'm generally familiar with LSx but don't know much about specific information. It's a lot to take in.

I have a 85 Iroc (obviously) drag car & I just bought a 98 Z28. Right now trying to decide exactly how to mod it to get what I want out of it & still be completely streetable (e.g., the wife can still drive it ) I'll start asking questions after I've read & searched a bit more but in the mean time, feel free to offer any suggestions.

It's all stock except for the C5 vette wheels I just put on & a hooker aerochamber muffler (single 3" in, 3" out) I had to have a quick cheap exh. sound upgrade. Doesn't sound too bad but it REALLY NEEDS A CAM. Oh, & it has the 2.73 gears & A4.

Whats up, you need to come to the bridge in Nashville this saturday. I went last sat. and was the only LS1 Z-28 out there. There's alot of guys from nashville in the Middle Tennessee F-body club; you should go to the site, it's www.mtfba.org. Anyways, the 2.73 sucks, I just put a 6-spd rear in mine a few weeks ago w/ the 3.42. I would put a gear in the car before i did any motor work though, or bolt ons; unless you drive 100 miles a day.

Thats crazy though, what are the odds? I go to school at Tech in cookeville and was hanging out with a bunch of fraternity brothers that wkend, as well as putting the 6-spd rear in the car. I thought you had me though when we raced, my comp still hasn't been changed for the gear...

The CLS was EXTREMELY nice though, I just couldn't help myself from trying to intrest you in a race.

Hey man im a lsx driver by nature, i was dieing to try this thing out cause i only had it a few weeks, i jumped for joy when i seen you pull on to the interstate but i think at a stop you would roast me what are the odd's man weird' huh. I know, what are the odds; the CLS put up a good fight, I thought you would pull on me hard when you went past me, and then I started catching up. I looked at the speedometer and it was buried, I was freakin out. Then about 10 minutes down the road i realized the guages havn't been calibrated..lol.. I'm up for a rematch, I might have the 3200 by then though.....

You know the only thing is she's a lil heavy but on top it gets up and go's i was using the paddle shift and i was shifting way to quick, im thinking about a 100 shot on it i am just trying to find the right shop in the area. but good luck with car mans sounds good when your ready for that remacth drop me a pm make well make a sweet vid man!


But with that 3200 im thinking a roll lol

Ya, a dig would probably be pretty nasty with a stall, vs a heavy amg. But anyways, the car was very nice; my g/f was in love with it. I'll definitly send you a PM though, and you do the same. We'll go to murf at least once to party it up with the Pi Kapps this fall, I'll have to send you one before we go.. But good luck with the 100 shot, I don't really know any high end shops around nashville i would trust with that car so be carefull.

Thanks for the Welcome guys. I live on Monteagle Mtn. near Manchester & work in Nashvegas. Drive SUCKS every day. I just knew I was gonna get back on here & get flamed for having the gold car. Only 1 post about the color, not too bad. I'll check out the Mid. TN F-body club.
