Default How much does it cost to....

I was wondering about how much does it cost to have a clutch put in in a 1998 T/A. Also how hard is it to put one in yourself?

unless you have a good set of tools and a good bit of experience i wouldn't attempt a clutch install yourself. I don't remember exaxtly but you will get charged at least 4 to 5 hours labor plus parts.

It is a PITA for the less than average mechanic such as myself. The trick is to locate a speed shop with guy that has experience with the T56s in Fbodys. The guy that did mine is able to pull the entire transmission in 20 minutes so he charges less because he can knock them out so quickly.

not really that hard man Pulled my friends t-56 in about 40 mins, First time i had ever done it. If you got the right tool and some mechanical exp. tackling this is not that bad, Worst part for me was getting the exhaust off
