Default Looking to buy a GTO...

Not for me (I still think they're ugly), for the wife...

Here's the stipulations:

Mileage 50K or less (pretty flexible)

Under $15,000 (flexible)

NO Red, Black, White (semi-flexible if it is Spice Red for example)

Automatic (not-flexible)

Any year but 2004 is obviously probably the only year we can afford...

We've found a couple of yellow ones that she likes but they are in Ohio and SW Florida... Looking for something a little closer. Anyone have any leads?

Add another $65K and you can buy mine.

If there are still miles/time left on the factory warranty, I wouldn't stress having it shipped from OH or FL. You are probably looking at no more than $1k to ship it from FL, less from OH, so if the price is right, don't let that be a deterrent.

I was about to put all of that into motion (shipping was $1100) and then the guy e-mails me with a link to the add and the car is now $3000 higher in price... WTF?!?

Oh well, he can go f@wk himself because I found three semi-close ones in the $18K range (one with a warranty to 100K) and 2 in the Vegas area...

If I can get the ball rolling we may have a Goat in the stable soon

Awww.... Now I gotcha

Anymore info on the neighbor's car? This may turn into my car soon enough anyways

I want the 2009 Camaro so I figured I might as well step up to a better trade in now...

its an 04 black on black with some black 18" rims with polished lip. Has KN CAI flowmaster cat back JBA shorty headers, jet something handheld tuner. Rear end gears are starting to whine. He owes quite a bit on it but he would probably sell it for cheaper since he owes way more than its worth

Alright, I think I got ya.

I couldn't figure out the "rear mount" comment unless you were talking about an STS. It was an obscure reference in my mind, but I'm guessing thats what you mean???

Yeah I'm not understanding that broken verbage either. FYI it may be a rear mount, but its making some numbers, and will surely beat your 8 sec 1/8th time.

I'm taking it to the ROTW cruise Aug 4th, so definately come by and check it out. I'm having some fuel leak issues with my -AN fittings, thats being addressed today. Should have a dyno sheet and some video on it shortly.

Also it will make the last race @ LACR on Sunday.

Let me know if you need any help. I'm not much for knowledge so can't help you there, but I can turn a wrench if you point me in the right direction.
