your opinion please
well guys a neighbor of mine is making up his mind of whether he is going to sell his z or not. the thing is; is that i want to buy it. the car is a 95 z28, it has only 104,xxx miles on the clock. the paint is nice, its like green blue.....i cant really explain......like the mystic cobra paint but without the purple, ill try to look for pics later and post them. he told me that if he sells it he would sell it for 5k. do you think the price is right? or is he asking to much? comments and opinions are all welcomed.
-david
btw when i was looking at the car i saw a badge that said "police interceptor" is this some type of z that came out rarely or did someone just put the badge. thanks again.

Its over 10 years old I think maybe you should offer $3500-$3800 cash. I'm assuming he kept up with the car and took care of it. I think $5000 is a little steep. Is it stock? Does it have after market wheels? Are you going to be spend more money fixing it or improving it? Let us know. I'll be watching all day.

$5K does seem a little steep, but honestly I haven't been following the LT1 market all that close. I just read a few threads today of a couple of guys buying sub 40k mile LS1 cars for around $10K.
Check around this site for B4C. That is the code for the police package. It's basically a stripped down light weight hardtop car.

all cars are only worth what someone is willing to pay
you all find 5k high for an LT1 car and I find a lot of LS1 cars over-priced
the color is mystic teal
drive the car, have a mech look at it if ya like
but 5k ain't bad if it's been taken care of
you can always try to haggle some
the B4C cars were basically Z28s w/o the Z28 emblems
