Default maft tunning

I have superchips tunning in my 00 SS and took it to a dino and was running too lean so they set maf with a translator at 8% rich to counter the tunning. Now my question is I reset my computer (took the tunning out) now will that also reset the translator from being 8% rich back to normall or will it stay at that setting until the translator sets it back. Please help need some answers!

Default Re: maft tunning

The translator will remain at 8% rich. The translator will be 8% richer than whatever your car was running without it. You need to get some kind of scan tool to see where you are. If your car was not lean before the superchips tuning then you could probably just disconnect the translator. Hope this helps.
