A clean shaven mid 20's pink cat is the best cat... wait this isn't the washer thread..

[on topic]

catco cats, if you're looking for another one. I believe they are the same as the magnaflow and a little cheaper to boot.

Default cfm

Great Link. One question. If the best cat flows 600 CFM, our cars have 2 cats, so I guess they can support up to 1200 CFM. Is that correct? I'm guessing if you had an engine that sucked in 1201 CFM of air thru intake, you would be restricted on the exhaust, or is 1200 CFM on intake different than 1200 CFM on exhaust?

I'm told the best cats available in any system are the ones supplied by ARH. According to their ads they are 200 cell metallic while others like Magnaflow are 300 and 400 cell. More cells = less flow. They also say their cats have proven themselves virtually indestructable.

installUniversity.com has a tech article on this and according to their results the best flowing cats were FLP cats
