its a little redundant to ask "can they do that?" cause obviously they did but i thought there has to be a witness to get a ticket, you might look into that

more than likely they had UCs watching well before any police came...dont u remember how ontario used to be in like 2000-01....no cops around (lol except the random occasion where the cops would come to watch the races)then all of a sudden theyd raid and theyd take down all the big racers even if they werent running...it sucks ***, but thats how it has always been...
on the bright side at least your still eligible to get it back....

Investigate and defend your rights.

They can't crush unless there are stolen parts on your car. Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not, people please don't fall victim to scare tactics.

Again, fight this. If you were parked for a while like you said, what prompted the officer to come up to you? Where were you parked? What info did you volunteer to the officer? What were you cited for?

If I remember correctly, I was in your car and can validate your claim.

Everyone THINKS they do not have any rights, but they are wrong. States pass laws all the time that are executed, fines paid on, people follow suit, UNTIL IT IS CHALLENGED IN COURT.

I may just go to law school to **** this bullshit...

LOL, I stopped racing in Ontario last year. After the big bust, it just isnt worth it anymore. I was debating going and finding a beat up crx or something and when the cops busted me for racing, just bust all the windows and kick the doors in, and then tell the cops to tow that piece of **** off somewhere, and walk home... even possibly pulling a crow bar out and beating the car to pieces and telling them, I hope you enjoy it more then I did, walk away with a smile.

funny you say that.. friday afternoon i was driving up the halloran summit on my way to vegas and saw a lowered crx with about $2k in paint and 19inch rims on the other side of the road - hood was up and a sheriff (not CHP) was standing in front with a clipboard. from the look on the driver's face, he was getting bent over.
on my way back, monday morning, the crx was still there except the wheels and bumpers were gone.

Street Racing is harder to do then ever before with all these new stupid laws. Look fast get a ticket, sound fast get a ticket, parked looking fast get impounded it is bs. Good luck on getting the Bird back it would be hard to see that crush when there are a million of ricers that deserve it more.
