Default Futral Motorsports all-bore dyno results!!!

Picked up the car last Thursday and already have 800 miles on it with no issues whatsoever. Allan Futral is an excellent guy to do business with. He took the time to answer at least a dozen emails full of questions and concerns before I decided on the build. He has the best prices around and stands behind his work; the fact that I live in Houston and chose his out-of-state shop over the local competition speaks for itself. I could not be more happy with FMS or the motor I have. Having said that, without further delay:

4.125" bore, dry sleave setup
3.71" ground stock crank
6.0L stage 3 FMS heads, dual springs
custom "FU2" cam
1 7/8" longtubes
dual 3" exhaust with an X-pipe
all the normal boltons
FMS tuning

and...

517 rwhp @ 6200 rpms and 490 rwtq @ 4700 rpms!

Needless to say the power was way more than I expected. The car HAULS. I observed 26 mpg on the drive back, not bad at all for an engine that makes over 600 flywheel horsepower!

Thanks again Allan for building me a badass motor!

SWEET numbers Fenris! I glad Allan got everything worked out for you.

After seeing your dyno graph, I don't know why I keep building little 346ci motors! lol

Wow, that's impressive, Fenris. Congrats. I must have missed the dyno graph - did you post it elsewhere? I'd love to see it.

Guess who recommended Fenris to Futral Motorsports in the first place. Now come to Florida and treat for dinner.. Those are some kick AZZ #'s.. You got me thinking about a similar setup and scratching my forced induction idea totally..

Very nice #'s Fenris....No doubt Allan knows his stuff. Glad to see the gains Allan is getting from his work. I know of a couple others here in ATL. who'll be sporting FMS motors shortly .....so much for keeping up w/the big boys ...always a day late and 100 rwhp short here

I will keep the specs of the FU2 cam under wraps for now, but it is definately not huge. The cam is a hydraulic grind and makes over 400 rwtq by only 2700 rpm, 500 rpm earlier than a popular tuner's 427 cubic inch superstroker packages dyno on their website. I will scan the dyno soon and post it so you guys can see the awesome curves the FMS package produces.

Oh yeah, these numbers were made through the exhaust. Based on results from similar setups, I stand to gain at least another 10 rwhp running collector extensions at the track (Nineball made almost 30 rwhp more opening the cutouts but he had a more restrictive exhaust setup).

It just amazes me how many engine combinations this motor has. Now, if I only had the money do at least one of them.
