can i use u-haul storage as a car storage?

Default can i use u-haul storage as a car storage?

i only need to store my car for 1 month while i'm away on vacation. i live in los angeles county and i'm having trouble finding storage. can i just use your average storage place like u haul as a car storage? they say your not llowed to, but how they gonna know? what do u think?

Some places will let you, as long as your car doesn't leak any fluids on their floor. That was the stipulation when I stored my 94Z at a few different locations.

The only concern I would have is, if you do and the place burns to the ground will you or will you not be covered? In the event of fire...and/or what about theft? I have looked around too here, none to be found, most won't due to vapor fumes/insurance or if they do, the fuel tank needs to be drained prior to...WTF!

Even if they say you cant and you do and the place burns to the ground, they IN THEORY, and in technical law (with the right lawyer, because some are poons) have to cover anything you stored there as long as you make the claim under their insurance policy before the policy is exhausted of the aggregate.
