Default first time at the track=12.88

I took my car to the track for the first time, I was expecting better times but I need to get my 60' time down first. I had et streets running at 18psi and the best 60' time was in the 1.9's.
I brake stalled the car right around 3000 rpms for this run which seemed to be a good spot, it pretty much dead hooked. The next run I tried brake stalling it to 3600 and it spun the first 60 foot, it was still a 12 second run and my highest trap speed of the night so maybe I needed to let a little more air out of the tires. What do I need to do to get a 1.7 60' time?
Anyway here is my best run last night

reaction time.........090
60".....................1.94
330....................5.437
1/8....................8.313
mph...................85.51
1000'.................10.791
1/4....................12.882
mph...................107.89

Maybe try to launch at a few different rpms. Some converters like to be stalled up, and sometimes you do better at a lower rpm and it flashes the converter harder. If you are dead hooking, try a lower footbrake rpm and see if the converter flashes higher and maybe it will 60ft a little better?

Maybe I need you to drive my car, you have a great 60' time. I ran 5 times, twice I flash stalled the converter and ran 13.04 and a 13.1, both 60' times were 1.90's. I brake stalled the car at 2000 rpms and got a 13.05, at 3000 rpms and got a 12.88 and around 3500 and got a 12.9 with a 2.06 60 foot time. I was suprised that I could brake stall the converter so high, most people say that they can only stall it up to somewhere in the 2000 rpm range.

i can brake stall mine to 3400 lol. doesnt do any good though. either way, i managed a 1.7 60ft stalling it up to around 1900rpms on street tires. maybe you arent getting into the real "Sweet spot" temperature of your tires.
