Default can i use stock head bolts for new heads or use?

on a budget. what bolts for a set of afr205s
do i NEEEEEEEEED ARP or can i reuse my stockers or??????

Holy crap... you have AFR 205's but have never heard of torque to yield bolts!

Sorry, I bust the *****. You can only use the stock head bolts once - then throw them away. You can buy new TTY's but if I had AFR 205's I would get a high quality fastener.

what he said....stock are TTY...so they are junk. but you could buy some stock replacements. i've seen em on ebay for pretty cheap. just check part numbers with a dealer.


from all the stories i've heard...it's worth the extra $$ for head studs...much easier install than bolts.

Do not put the tty bolts in there. Spend the extra money and get the ARP's, take it from somebody that used the tty one too many times.

not to mention those tty bolts suck *** trying to use that degree method, f**k that. you won't regret spending the extra coin on arp head bolts/studs.
