Am putting my 11" ZR1s on now, jacked the car from the rear pumpkin... hammered out the fender a good bit, threw some rubberized undercoating on and... the bumpstops aren't even CLOSE to hitting. Is this normal? I've heard that if you jack from the rear end itself it makes the bumpstops a non issue. If so, will it be a huge issue when DRIVING the car? I would search but it's tempermental. Thanks

Assuming you have the 50 mm 'GrandSport' offset 11" wide ZR1's you will indeed need to jack the car up by the pumpkin to avoid getting hung up on the bumpstops. But you should have no issues driving around though unless you plan on getting airborne with the car.

However, if you have the 36mm offset 11" wide ZR1's you'll clear the bumpstomps fine when jacking the car up from the body and wouldn't need to bang on the inner fender, however your outer fend lip might be an issue.

Thanks! Yea I have about 1/2" of clearance at the closest point after some BFHing, that sound about decent? Car is fully loaded on the ground, not close to bumpstop and taht much clearance. Just driving around without getting airborne I should be good, no? Thanks for the insight.
