SLP 1.85 Rockers on 98 LS1 ? (TAPPING & low oil pressure)
I just installed SLP 1.85 Rockers on my stock 99 LS1 w/ hardened pushrods and comp 918 springs.
Before the install, my oil pressure would read 40 at idle. It is at 37 right now as it idles. Why the sudden drop in pressure?
I was also told that the rockers would make a slight more noise than the stockers? I torqued each one to 25 ft. lbs. and double checked them. I noticed that the bolts SLP supplied were a little tight going into the rocker. Would this throw of the torque wrench reading? Currently, I do notice a slight sound as if one of the rockers is loose. I am sure that the are all torqued correctly.
What should I do now?

Leave the new pushrods. Let the springs heat cycle a few times. Then just enjoy your new setup. It is gonna be louder than it was before. The only thing I didn't hear you mention. When you torqued your rockers, did you make sure that particular valve was closed when you tightened that bolt. If so, and the car isn't missing. Just go drive it.
