Mopar Drag City Finally!!!!!!! has anyone heard of this drag strip yet? it is a purpose built drag strip a full 1/4 mile track at a elevation of 2100 feet above see level. there will be no stupid *** oval track right next to it to distract attention and will be open for test and tune nights to the public weekly. finally somewhere near us other than fonatana's california speedway. heres the website so you guys can check it out http://mopardragcity.com

it is getting done we just called and construction is being done as we speak, the construction should only take a couple months as their target year is 2007 so they should be done by november.

^^^ +1 I'm sick of hearing about that track. Someone needs to just make it happen, such a bunch of ****, why do they post up that they will be opening a track, and NOTHING ever gets done. I have heard they were working on this track for 5 years. Some guy took some money and ran off with it. Funny how things like this happen.

There are still a lot of environmental issues that have to be sorted out before that track ever opens.

you guys think they will change the 2007 grand opening? a drag strip could be built pretty quickly compared to another building structure or oh say a oval track.
