Default motor plate question

Ok don't give me a hard time but I think this is the best option for my car. I have a 89 Volvo 740 wagon, I am saving my hard earn money for a LS1/T-56 swap. Motor mounts are my biggest issue so I said hey a motor plate from Madman would make it easier. It is the same as putting solid mount in the car. Its my daily driver, and can stand all the vibration so that is not a issue. Right now it will be a H/C car until that blows, then it will be a big single turbo. Rearend will be a fab 9 with mini tubs, Chevy bolt pattern, and 4 link.

So how many people have DD a motor plate car, verse a solid mount car?

It'll be fine. You can make some sort of urethane grommets to go where the motor plate bolts to the frame (like control arms have).
