Default Dyno numbers with the Cartek X-package

As Most of you know my car been at Cartek getting a new motor installed I went with a new shortBlock with their stage II X-Package LS6 heads and their custom cam.

I just can't say thanks enough to the Crew at cartek They did an awesome job on my car. You guys are the best and THANK YOU

Now onto the numbers

With a short belt on the car and threw the Muffler it made
453 hp
409 tq

After I opened the cutout the car made
460.7 hp
417.7 hp

The car runs awesome. There is power everywhere I can't thank Cartek enough for building me a monster. I plan on taking it to the track very soon for some new ET's
Special thanks to Julio Dave Rich and Roy for giving me back a whole new ride .. I just hope my tranny will last for a few passes

Hmm.... Thoes are some bad *** numbers, but I think you could get more out of it. I guess its the fact that it hasnt been broken in yet all the way. But to be honest thoes are some truly bad *** number from a heads and cam car. and you should see 460 through a muffler after break in

Would you mind giving a little more info. A stock short block can be punvhed, stroked and domed like hell. If this is 346ci, and all i would like the turn around time and more info-definately intersted.

Congrats Pete on the AWESOME numbers. Can't wait to see that monster at the track.

To answer a couple of questions Pete's car is an M6 with a 12 bolt and 4.10 gears. I also believe the bottom end is stock and only the heads and cam were replaced.( but not 100% possitive )

Would you mind giving a little more info. A stock short block can be punvhed, stroked and domed like hell. If this is 346ci, and all i would like the turn around time and more info-definately intersted.

It's a stock block piston and rod motor 346 ci then only thing done is the timing chain. I had my stock one break on my original motor. Your best bet is to call Dave at cartek 908-317-4496 for more info on what I have and prices on what you would like

a Little info on my car here. I am running a 6 speed 98 camaro with a moser 12 bolt (4.11) gears Grotts for headers and a Mufflex Y-Pipe going threw a cutout and B&B catback. Direct flo lid takes the air in to a stock MAF without the screen and a cartek ported throttlebody. A port matched LS6 intake is also on the car.

Thanks again to the crew at Cartek for buliding me a sick motor

Why should it run 10's,just because u say it should big?

Theres ALOT more to runningt 10.50's than big hp.
Weather,traction,suspension,etc..

Its not as simple as U make it sound.
One things for sure BIG,Pete will run well.
