Got my slp lm installed
Bah. Sounds like ****.....wayyyyyyyy to raspy at lower RPM's...sounds alright at WOT. Not to mention the guy who sent me it sent me the resonated tips instead of the regular ones. It sounded like a 4 cylinder on steroids with them on there. Sounds better but still not great at all with them off.
I wouldn't reccomend this exhaust to anyone.....i guess that is just my opinion.

Yep, the loudmouth is a love or hate system.
Not sure what you mean by "resonated tips"........but I had the quad tips with the LM2 and it was annoying. If you want to tone it down you can slap a spiral flow in place of the resonator. It helped a lot, but the overall tone of a bullet just wasn't for me.
Finally went with a magnaflow.

man if you don't like it now wait till you put longtubes and an ORY on I loved the LM1 on stock manifolds, thought it sounded awesome, I've got Longtubes and ORY on there now and its crazy loud, I sound like a circle track car at WOT if it wasn't for the police and tickets I would keep it on there

I cant see how that would ever tickle one's fancy, but to each his own I guess. I have the LM1 and I love it. Its sounds WAAAAY better than flowmaster, magnaflow, borla, and hooker IMHO. I did hours of sound clip listening before I chose. I do however reccomend the LM2 if you think that its too raspy or loud. The Magnaflow is almost as quiet as the stock, just sounds cleaner.

Yeah i'm on stock manifolds and stock Y. The only other mod is SLP lid. The drone at lower RPMS is pure **** but it sounds alright at higher RPM's. It feels like i'm driving a really loud truck which isn't what i wanted. I wanted more of that garghling sound which on mustangs sounds incredible.

if you have a stock exhaust system, SLP LM sounds great. if you have LT headers, be sure to get a catted-Y instead of ORY. The cats really make it sound great with LT headers.

I love the sound of my LM1 behind stock cats, and I just installed Edelbrock Headers and y-pipe with hiflow 4 inch spun cats and it was surprisingly tame sounding. I was told it would be too raspy but thats not the case, just a hint of midrange rasp and loud at WOT.
