Newbie - start a scan in HP Tuners Any help appreciated:
Do I connect first and ping the PCM and then start the scan?
Do I have the engine running when I hit the connect button, or just the key on (but engine off)?
I assume I can start the scan with the engine running?
Can anyone give me the sequence?

I just added a bunch more that I've done over the last year or so, but there are a bunch of old ones that should get you up and running pretty quickly
