FINALLY started the process... Getting SDPC 383 short-block in a few weeks!!!

Starting to disassemble short-block. I noticed some cylinder scoring (4 cylinders). It is at the very bottom, on the high side of the cylinders. It is deep enough to feel. Normal for 60K on the clock???

Definitely not normal. I had 80,000 on mine and you could still see the cross hatching. Used Mobil 1 from the get go.

The cross hatching is still there and I have also used Mobil 1 only...
