Default Whats this cam got over this cam ?

"Reverse Split" - 227/224 .569/.563 114 LSA and "TR 224-114" - 224/224 .563/.563 114 LSA beside the obvious in numbers.
How does one perform over the other.
Thanks

The reverse split cams are largly known for Forced Induction applications....

Im no cam expert by any means, but I believe its better for forced induction because it allows more air to be pulled through... which with forced induction is very good thing...

However the LSA is a little low for a Prime FI cam... I was thinking it should be around 116+

Not true on all acounts. Yes you can run overlap for FI (to a certain degree depending on application) and the TR227 is not only a Turbo application, it is a good low/midrange cam only cam, I prefer TR230/224

so im guessin the 227/224 is better for FI over the 224/224? i thought the 227 would be better for a typical bolt on car? 2002 ta m6
