Default Manifold Fit

Has anyone ever had any problems or know if there is one with the stock LS1 or LS6 intake manifold fitting correctly after heads have been milled.

Yeh. I'm about to tackle that issue this week end....according to Mark at Raginging Motor Sports, it should fit OK. These with heads milled .055.

If not, just remove the alignment pins and grind off a little on the diameter and hieght....reinstall the pins and try again...

Little tip for you guys...

There are 2 black plastic clips that are taped to the knock sensor wires (under the manifold). Make sure you remove them prior to installing the LS6 manifold. The manifold sets so low that if the clips are not removed, they will keep the manifold from sealing properly against the heads.

Also, dont forget to hook up the small vacumm line that goes between the HVAC system and the rear of the manifold. Its right next to the large brake booster vacumm line.
