LS2 intake on LS1... i have never heard of this, but i saw a ls2 intake on ebay that said it was compatible with ls1/ls6 engines.
is this the truth...or an ebay falacy?

Yes, it is correct. The LS2 intake flows slightly better then an LS1 and worse then an LS6. Also, the MAP sensor is located in the front, versus in the back like an LS1/LS6 intake. Different fuel rails will be required if I'm not mistaken. Not worth swapping IMHO, just wait for an LS6.

Thanks guys. It did say the MAP was in the front, and it had a big throttle body opening. It did however say it was compatible with ls1 injectors and rails.

The LS2 is a lot like the LS1 intake. It has a lot of material inside that can be removed to increase power. I have a LS6 intake and ported stock TB now, and am switching to a ported LS2 intake and NW 90mm TB. I will make sure to post the results once I get everything on.
