Default Rear shocks on a F body

Do I need to tear into the intierior to remove the top of the rear shocks? On a 01 ws6

no, cut perforated carpet square flap behind rear seatback.

i just did mine took out kids saftey seat belt hooks or w/e and pushed back carpet.
