Okay how bout this one??? 427/cam

Default Okay how bout this one??? 427/cam

Okay after listening to you guys and alot of other people I decided to go with a different camshaft. Instead of the 232, 242, 540, 545, 113 lob sep and 111 centerline isky grind I am going with a 244, 248, 609, 612, 113 lobe sep on a 108 centerline. This will go in my 427 with 11.4 to 1 compression and afr 225 heads etc etc. Let me know your thoughts on this one as well thanks, I just read the cam and it has +4 on it as well assuming that means its got 4 degrees of advance ground into it.

Should be great. I would guess at least 540rwhp!

Wouldn't it have a intake centerline of 109 if it has 4 ground into it? It looks like it would run well with those heads. You should be able to live with that one on the street and have a nice rump as well.

I would have put less advance into it and dropped the LSA to 112 or 111 personally. But it should be a torque monster. You will be choking off the upper end though IMO.
