Exclamation URGENT: LCA Bolt

Does anyone know the specifications of a Lower control arm bolt? Mine fell off when I was driving and I need to get another one. Length, size, not sure just the specifications. Thanks

That would require me taking it off lol. I am never going to that lined up if the other one comes off, it was hard enough using a lift, let alone this time I gotta use a jack.

If your going to replace it with just another bolt of the same size, make sure you get the same grade as whatever is stock, or else you will shred the new bolt and be in the same boat as you are now. Unfortunately I don't know what grade strength it would be.

Well I saw a kit online saying 12mm 10.9 bolts, 12mm steel lock nuts and 12mm flat washers. Does that sound correct? Not sure how to look for 12 mm 10.9 bolts.

Mine fell out and I replaced it... don't remember what size it was though... I got the replacement from Lowe's... I went with a grade 5 bolt... they didn't have any grade 8's that would fit...

I pulled the bolt off the other control arm and brought that in with me to get the right size... just a suggestion...

where are you located? I have stock LCA bolts in the garage. I replaced them when I installed BMR LCAs with their bolt kit.

BMR sells hardware kits seperately, I bought one. I'm just not sure if they will fit your application.

I used 1/2" x 4" bolts when I installed my LCAs. I had to drill the holes a lil bigger. I got grade 8 bolts as well

If you get a metric bolt (M12) make sure its Prop Class 10.9, if you get a standard bolt (eg 1/2") then make sure its SAE Grade 8.

EDIT: Nevermind. Just realized this thread is over 2 months old...
