Default Which intake should I get?

I am in the market for a FAST intake. But with the MODS in my SIG which intake should I get? the 90mm or the 78mm?
Also how are the typhoon intakes?
Anyone using them?

here it is....http://www.vetteweb.com/tech/vemp_06...tor/index.html

if you read the article the 78mm intake makes 499hp and 487tq while the 90mm version make 501hp and 487tq on an engine dyno, but the 78mm version also make a little bit more power down low in the tests.....here is page 2 with the graphs....

lol why would u get the 78? if for some reason something happends to ur motor and u go with a bigger cubed motor, a 90mm would have much more potential then a 78..

Your only going to regret getting the 78mm later...either run a ls6 or 90mm FAST. How many threads have you seen saying "got a 90mm, wish i would have gone 78" ? You never see them for a reason..save a little longer and get the one you won't regret IMO

I am not certain, so you will need to double check. I thought a member here successfully ported the inlet on a 78mm FAST to allow it to match the outlet of a 90mm TB. Something for you to look into.

Either stick with the ls6 or get the fast 90, But you really dont need the 90 right now

Get the Fast 90.. it outflows all the other current manifolds, and is still a restricion on even mildly ported heads. Getting it ported to 290+cfm flow will help if your heads can keep up. The 85mm Typhoon is a good piece, but does not flow like the fast, the 96mm Typhoon MIGHT but I have not seen any tests on that manifold, but it is cheaper. Same TB's bolt up to both.

Thanks for the info fellas.
Ok got it. But is it a bolt on, or do I need to purchase anything else?
