Got head today, pic's to follow
Just received my special edition AFR 205's. Had Tony Mamo give them the and then match a FAST90 up to them as well. Then I asked the man to spec'd out my cam. My car is 4050 lbs with me and a half tank of gas. It will see a 200-300 shot of n2o as well. Cam is a 238/240 113 lsa. Finished off the valve train with Yella Terra Ultra Lites and I already have the hi perf gm lifters. I'll post up some pics of them in a little bit.

Patricks formula for 500 rwhp includes heads (AFR 205's) worked over for gains in specific areas. You'll have to talk to Tony about the .. I can't say what he did as I dont really know I can see where he worked them a little bit I think but these things are so immaculate in person you need to know what your looking for to see the changes.
Right away I notice a huge difference in quality control from my other heads. These thing have actualy been qc'ed!!
From the de-burring of threads to the water jackets and non present slag they are ******* awesome looking. You can hold these heads without having your fingers sliced open. They are second to none as far as quality control

Nice pics Chris...
So you took them out of your bed to take the last few?
(I know....I need to stick to my day job....LOL)
Besides bustin chops a little I did want to mention that Chris's flow numbers were recorded after a fairly aggressive mill. A milled head always flows less than an unmilled head. Our advertised data does not take into account any milling which makes alot of the strong low and midlift airflow gains even more impressive. Even the peak numbers hung in there in spite of mill with the extra chamber and "romance" work performed.
BTW, AFR will be offering a similar head (with a 4" bore) and a 205cc port in the next few months that would be close to these flow numbers direct from the manufacturer (no additional handwork needed to achieve that). When that head becomes available I will start a thread to discuss more details concerning it's release. I would anticipate it may still be four months away.
Looking foward to the results Chris...
