changing valve covers what is needed?????

Default changing valve covers what is needed?????

I am changing from 98 perimeter covers over to center bolts what do I need other then the valve cover??

Not to sound like a jackass, but you need heads that will accept center bolt valvecovers.

Stock 98 heads only have bolt holes for the perimeter bolts.

after you get the aformentioned needed 99+ heads.. you need the coil brackets and bolts.. along with the 4 center bolts for the valve covers.

Wow, how did I forget those? Valve covers really dont work too well without the bolts.

If you want you could get the coil re-location brackets too.

Turkey yea I know you weren't trying to be an *** i have a 98 engine now and i am getting a 408 but the new motor comes with heads that are center bolt style so i just needed to see what was needed to make the conversion. Trying to get ecerything in place for the swap so i dont get hit with surprises

yes they will work. MAKE SURE you get the specific bracket bolts for the coil packs.. because the 98 bolts are a different thread pitch

Thanks that is good info tohave now does any know a sponsor or anthor parts store that offers some kind of kit or anything?
