Default Cam and heads

I have some down time for car (long story) and wanted to do a head and cam mod on it. I am still reasearching but have alot to learn. Has anybody installed this package from the ws6store http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...1e96a855a833d1.
If so how much power did the combo produce? I am looking for a strong power band from around 1800 to 6000 RPM range based on the stickys at the top of forum.

Looks like you typical budget H/C combo. Nothing at all wrong with it. I don't know what people thing about patriot cams though. I wouldn't be afraid to do it.

That looks like a good budget h/c setup. I would get the larger cam imo.

I didnt see pushrods listed there but otherwise it looks pretty good. I dont know much about cams so I wont steer you in the wrong direction, but I would probably go with the bigger one also.

Give Texas Speed a call you'll spend about the same and there's a quite a few people started to post up there numbers from there install. I'll be post my #'s up next tuesday when I get back from the dyno. TS customer service is second to none.

That looks like a very decent package... Ive heard of quite a few people very satisfied with patriot cams. And their heads are probably the best bang for the buck. And getting roller rockers added in there for that price?!? Sounds good to me. They may not be necessary, but for that price, why not. Might consider swapping out the lifters too while youre in there.
