I don't really understand LSx, LTx, big block, small block, etc.
I'm reading on Wikipedia and other sites but I still don't fully understand the differences between them. Are there any advantages for a single one or they all have advantages/disadvantages??

The X in both of those just means in general. Like instead of saying lets talk about LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7 we just say "lets talk about LSx" They are motors that come in our cars and other GM cars. the LS1 was put in f-bodies (Firebirds and Camaros) from 98 - 02 also used in the vette, gto and some Holdens for example.
